About the Museum of Mythical History

Our Goal

Our goal is to support learning and the arts by building The Museum of Mythical History, a museum dedicated to the history of mythology, legends, fairy tales, tall tales, and modern myths.

By connecting popular genres such as Fantasy, Sci/Fi and the Paranormal, we hope to foster interest in history, culture, literature and the arts by presenting the origins of these genres in factual historical terms, while at the same time entertaining our audience.

Using the internet and social media such as Facebook and Newsletters we hope to demonstrate an active fan base that could support such a museum. The sum of our efforts are to construct an actual building with life-size replicas, kind of like a wax museum with dragons, unicorns, fairies, vampires, werewolves, fairy tales, modern myths, legendary items, mythical plants and cryptozoological creatures as well.

Packed with interesting stories and interactive exhibits, it will be a truly unique, entertaining, inspiring and educational experience. One that fulfills that place in all of our hearts where mystery, magic, and a strong sense of wonder still exists.

How to Help

Interesting in helping out the Museum of Mythical History?

There are several ways to help the museum, and many require little time, little effort, and are free. The first and foremost way to support the museum is to fan us on Facebook and ask your family and friends to do the same. Our Facebook fan base spreads the word about the project and attracts contributors to the project. Having a large fan base also helps us demonstrate that this project is one that people are passionate about which is important when requesting grants.
