Artist Christian N. St.Pierre contributed a concept sketch of the ancient serpent dragon Jörmungandr, his sketch really brings the legend to life.

Thanks to the amazingly talented Marc Fishman we now have a simply amazing piece of concept art for sirens. Sirens and mermaids are closely related, in fact the word for mermaid in Spanish is "Sirena". We're currently working on the virtual exhibit for Mermaids and we will be adding this piece to site very soon.

New article by Dr. Bob Curran!! Author of "Werewolves: A Field Guide to Shapeshifters, Lycanthropes, and Man-Beasts" and over 20 other books on the histoty of myths and folklore has written a new article specifically for The Museum of Mythical History entitled - "Wolf in the Fold." HUGE NEWS!!!
We are now ready to accept tax deductible donations, The Museum of Mythical History has been granted a 501(c)3 non-profit fiscal sponsorship! The Museum of Mythical History is now a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. We have added a donation link to the bottom of each page, and we will be updating text throughout the site to reflect this massive leap forward with the project.

Jennifer Kearney added as a contributor, her amazing concept art of a Minotaur can be seen now on our Facebook fan page. Soon we'll have it up on this site as well.

RustyCon 2010 added to events schedule.
Unfortunately we will not be attending this convention but our contributor Theresa Mather will be the artist Guest of Honor and will be bringing informational cards to the event.

Fantasy Magazine is planning to write an article on the museum. It's too early for details, but we will let you know as soon as we have more information.

We've added a new contribution from Ed Bread Jr. Ed has been a fantasy artist for over 25 years, doing art for companies like Wizard's of the Coast, and even has had his own annual "Dragon Calendar."

We've added a newsletter to the website, for those who don't use Facebook or Twitter. We've also installed a web statistics tool to help us make the site better as the project grows. Thanks to everyone at Fantasy Brewmasters for sharing our site with their fans.

Sci-Fi Vegas becomes the first site to post an article on our project. We also had our biggest weekend ever with over 100 new fans, we now have over 600 fans!

Check out the event page, we'll be at NeonCon as a "Rising Star" exhibitor, and "Loscon" in November. I'm working on new concept art sketches for the site and pamphlets. The temporary site design is almost all done!

200 fans in less than two weeks! Thanks Everyone! I've added an Events section, a bookmark icon, I'm working on new art, adding us on digg, adding us to goggle and other search engines, working on new art, and talking to a few other artist who may soon join the fight!

100 fans in less than one week! I'd like to personally thank everyone who joined up and made our first week a huge success. The website is slowly coming along and our Virtual Dragon Exhibit is now in the works.
